Railway Employee Welfare Society

Railway Employee Welfare Society wishes to provide a better living for those households who come under Middle/Small income group and to cater to this, Society has planned to bring economical flats to solve the housing needs of government employee and working woman and that too with amazing payment plans to suit your needs.
Under this scheme, initially only 20% payment of the total cost of flat booked is to be deposited and the balance 80% payment can be paid through easy monthly installments (without any interest) in 5 years, so that every such employee can own his/her house.
1. In the first phase, the Society is beginning this scheme in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida.
2. The second phase will be covering all zones of Northern Railway such as Firojpur Moradabad, Ambala, Bareilly and Lucknow.

The demand survey in aforesaid areas has already been started.



  • To conduct a demand survey through registration of those employees who are desperately looking for their own house.

  • We are committed to provide 20 thousand flats in each division during the year 2016-2017.


Railway Employee Welfare Society'S mission is to provide:
  • Residential flats to government employees and working women at No Profit No Loss basis

  • Quality and professional education to children of all employees

  • Exemplary medical facility at No profit No loss basis

  • Open departmental stores for the Government employees e.g. CSD of Indian Army

  • Group insurance coverage up to Rs. 10 Lacs for all employees.

  • Coordinate between all the trade union of Government departments

  • Facility of personal loan for all Government employee

  • Encourage the employee to work honestly and be ready to cooperate in any adverse situation while doing their duties diligently

  • Fight for income tax exemptions for government employees.

  • Ensure the payment of Bonus (PLB) as announced by Ministry Of Railway by removing the minimum criteria clause


Registration PROCESS

  • Any Government /Working women can apply under this scheme by filling up the application form (Form Cost Rs. 100/-) along with Cheque /Demand Draft of Rs. 5,100/- as registration fees issued in favour of " Railway Employee Welfare Society."

  • The allotment of flats will be based on lucky draw process .

  • Successful applicants, after lucky draw result, will be informed through allotment letter.

  • For all other applicants, except mentioned in Point 3, the registration amount will be refunded in 2 months.

  • In case of cancellation of allotment, there will be no such refund.


  • Successful applicants have to submit the 10% amount of the total cost within 15 days from the date of allotment. Further 10% amount is to be deposited within 45 days from the date of allotment.

  • The rest 80% amount is to be paid by EMIs in next 5 years. (No Interest will be charged on EMIs)

  • If an applicant wishes to get financial assistance/Loan from Bank/Financial Institute, they can do so.
